PM embarks on two-day visit to Indonesia

HA NOI — Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung left Ha Noi today for an official two-day visit to Indonesia at the invitation of Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono.

He is being accompanied by his wife and entourage.

This is a courtesy visit to the ASEAN member country, as it is a common practice in ASEAN, after Dung was re-elected by the National Assembly.

Meanwhile, National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung will lead a high-ranking delegation of the Assembly on an official visit to Cambodia and to attend the 32nd General Assembly of the ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA-32) on a date yet to be announced.

The visit will be made at the invitation of Chairman of the Cambodian Parliament Samdech Akka Moha Ponhea Chakrei Heng Samrin, who doubles as Chairman of AIPA-32. — VNS
