147 women from 33 ethnic groups in Vietnam will take part in the semi final round of the 2nd annual Miss Ethnic Vietnam this month.

The semi final round will be held from November 1 to 4 in Hanoi and from November 12 to 15 in Ho Chi Minh City.

Contestants who won the 3 highest prizes at local beauty pageants in 2008, 2009 and 2010 can skip the semi final round and go straight to the final round to be held in HCMC from November 26.

The final night will be held at Hoa Binh Theatre in District 10 on December 10. The coronation will be broadcast live on Vietnam Television's channels VTV1 and VTV4.

The event is being organized by the Government Ethnic Minorities Committee and CIAT Advertising and Trade Fair Joint Stock Company.
